Experienced Technical Designer:

The role of technical designer is suitable for someone with experience in the technical details of designing bespoke furniture and kitchens. A good understanding of how bespoke furniture is designed is important along with understanding construction methods and practices within the industry.

The role includes taking customer-approved drawings (and CAD programs) from our sales team and adding the technical detailing for construction. Our sales team use the same CAD/CAM software to draught our projects as our technical design team, so much of the outline design work has already been completed before the technical design stage. Our technical designers are responsible for taking our customer approved projects and making sure the technical details work along with ordering materials and consumables to suit our work flow. This role is a supportive role for our workshop, ensuring they have the information and materials they need to meet our busy project schedule.
